Bad Blankenburg (RWH) Andreas Trautvetter is both the old and the new president of the German Bobsleigh, Luge, and Skeleton Federation (BSD). The 56-year-old mathematician and former Minister of Home Affairs in Thuringia was appointed President of the BSD in 2004. He has now been confirmed in office by the Annual General Meeting of the federation. Trautvetter is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation FIBT (Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing), where he acts as Vice President for Financial and Corporate Affairs. “We would like to congratulate Andreas Trautvetter on his re-election,” said FIBT President Ivo Ferriani. “We look forward to continuing our close partnership with the German federation.” |
