Innsbruck (RWH) The International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing / FIBT) mourns the son of Werner Delle Karth, longtime member of the FIBT arbitral court and Secretary General of the Austrian Federation (ÖBSV).

Jörg  Delle Karth  died on 13 March while working as a helicopter pilot in Gabun (Central Africa). The older brother of Nico Delle Karth, World Cup winner in the sport of sailing, was only 32 years old.

The FIBT expresses the deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jörg Delle Karth.

Friends of the Delle Karth family are invited to a commemoration ceremony on March 26, 3.00 pm, in the Novum Innsbruck (AUT,  Josef-Wilberger-Straße 9, 6020 Innsbruck).
