Marcel Rohner to look after young Swiss bobsleigh athletes

Cham (RWH)  Marcel Rohner of Switzerland has been appointed head of young  Swiss bobsleigh talent, the Swiss association Swiss Sliding reports on its website. The former bobsleigh driver will search for talented young athletes and use well-directed, coordinated methods to introduce them to elite sports on the ice track.

Marcel Rohner, who celebrates his 48th birthday on 21 June, collected Olympic silver in the four-man bobsleigh in Nagano in 1998, was World Championship runner up in 1996 and 1999, and was overall World Cup winner in the four-man event in 1997 and 2000.
