Joel Brown
Joel Brown, P.E., serves as MLS Financial Solutions Manager for First International Bank & Trust's Mineral & Land Services division. A licensed Professional Engineer and Reservoir Engineer, Joel specializes in oil and gas reserves, mineral asset valuation, energy investments, and Reserve Based Lending (RBL).
Joel helped build FIBT's RBL program and is a co-founder of MineralTracker®, the Bank's proprietary mineral management platform. By combining engineering, valuation, and financial expertise, he helps mineral owners, operators, investors, and lenders evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and maximize the value of their energy assets.
Joel and his wife, Emily, are proud to be raising the sixth generation of the Brown family in McKenzie County. He also serves on the McKenzie County Commission, the North Dakota Clean Sustainable Energy Authority, and the North Dakota Development Fund.
