Happy 40th Anniversary Steve Stenehjem!

Our CEO and Chairman Steve Stenehjem has been with First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) for 40 years. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we look back on his achievements with pride.

Through Steve’s leadership, FIBT is over 100x larger than it was when he started. The bank’s total assets have grown from just under $49 million to over $5 billion (depending on the day). From its humble beginnings in Arnegard, North Dakota, FIBT now has locations across four states and serves more customers than ever before.
