Managing Your FIBT Cards Online is Easy – Here’s How
You’re always in control of your finances at First International Bank & Trust (FIBT)! By utilizing Online and Mobile Banking, you can quickly and easily access a full suite of Card Management controls. That means that with the click of a button (or the tap of a finger), you can:
- Place a temporary freeze on your FIBT debit or credit card
- Get an email or push notification alert every time your card is used
- Block or enable specific types of purchases as you see fit
- Set transaction limits
…and much more.
To set up your Card Management tools, follow these instructions:
Desktop Instructions
- Login to my.fibt.com
- Go to Accounts – Card Management
- Click on the card that you want to set up alerts and/or controls on
- Click on the gear icon to set up alert/controls and your delivery method (email, SMS or push)
Don’t see your mobile phone # listed as a delivery option? In Online Banking, go to Resources – Contact & confirm you have enabled your mobile phone.
Mobile App Instructions
- Login to the FIBT Mobile App
- Go to More – Accounts – Card Management
- Swipe the card image to select the card you would like to set up alerts/controls on
- Click on the Alerts and Controls wording and then the pencil icon to set your delivery method (email, SMS or push)
Don’t see your mobile phone # listed as a delivery option? In your app, go to More – Settings – Contact & confirm you have enabled your mobile phone to receive SMS messages.
