FIBT Named a Top 50 ACH Originator in 2025 by Nacha
First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is proud to announce that Nacha has once again named FIBT a Top 50 financial institution originator of ACH payments in the country, marking our fifth consecutive year on this national list.
This achievement reflects the continued strength and scale of FIBT’s payments division, Kotapay, which supports businesses nationwide with fast, reliable, and secure electronic payment solutions. Being recognized year after year by Nacha underscores Kotapay’s role as a trusted partner for organizations that depend on ACH to move money efficiently.
“Earning a place on Nacha’s Top 50 list for the fifth year in a row is a meaningful milestone,” said Jim Haug, director of Kotapay. “It speaks to our team’s commitment to accuracy, security, and service, and to the trust our customers place in us every day to handle their payments.” A significant contributor to Kotapay’s growth in 2025 was the rollout of its Kavinu platform, a cloud-native, open-API payments gateway. Haug added: “Kavinu is another entry point to Kotapay for customers to access a host of payment rails, including ACH.”
Each year, Nacha recognizes the financial institutions that originate the highest volumes of ACH payments across the U.S. The ACH Network connects virtually every bank and credit union account in the country and continues to play a critical role in the payments ecosystem.
As electronic payments continue to grow nationwide, FIBT and Kotapay remain focused on innovation, fraud prevention, and helping businesses simplify how they pay and get paid. This fifth consecutive recognition from Nacha reinforces that commitment and the momentum behind it.
