Join First International Bank & Trust as a Loan Quality Control Specialist and play a critical role in safeguarding the accuracy and compliance of our loan portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
- Audit newly booked Commercial and Consumer loans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Verify collateral documentation is properly executed, recorded, and perfected.
- Review loan file maintenance requests for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Report findings, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of audits and findings for compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with bankers and loan operations teams to improve processes and reduce errors.
- Monitor quality control results to identify training needs and clarify procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or two years of related experience in loan operations, quality control, or banking functions.
- Familiarity with commercial and consumer loan documentation and regulatory compliance preferred.
