Building Coordinator
First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Building Coordinator to support the maintenance, safety, and operation of Bank facilities within an assigned region. This role coordinates facility work orders, preventative maintenance, vendors, and security related support to ensure our locations remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
Primary Area of Responsibility & Travel:
- This position is primarily responsible for Bank facilities located in Minot, Rugby, Harvey, and Fessenden, with occasional travel to other locations across the Bank’s footprint as needed.
- Travel within the assigned region may occur 1–2 days per week, typically allowing the employee to return home the same day; overnight travel may be required occasionally depending on project needs.
- This role may require response to facility or emergency situations outside of normal business hours on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage facility work orders and preventative maintenance through the Facility Management System.
- Coordinate third party vendors, including scheduling, access, and security requirements.
- Support building maintenance, security systems, and facility projects.
- Assist with construction and remodel activities.
- Monitor facilities for safety, cleanliness, and repair needs.
- Respond to facility issues related to emergencies or weather events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of related facilities, maintenance, or building support experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
