Loan Operations Servicing Supervisor

Salary Range: $30 - $40/hr DOE

The Loan Operations Servicing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the loan servicing team and overseeing day-to-day servicing operations. This role focuses on people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and development, while ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with service expectations.

This position serves as the primary point of accountability for team performance, workload coordination, and overall service quality within loan servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to loan servicing staff, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and performance evaluations.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure appropriate training, cross-training, and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and service levels.
  • Prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines and operational demands.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex servicing issues.
  • Support the team with hands-on servicing work as needed during peak volumes or absences.
  • Oversee loan servicing operations, including loan setup, participation servicing, daily balancing, non-post resolution, rate maintenance, returned payment processing, and escrow administration.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance through loan file maintenance, UCC filings and amendments, and monitoring and resolving exception reports.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree; 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in loan servicing or loan operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of loan servicing processes and controls.
  • Experience leading or supporting team performance, training, or workflow coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
