Marketing Internship

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern with a passion for writing and brand storytelling. This part-time role (15–25 hours/week) is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. The intern will focus on crafting compelling written content for social media and assisting with content development for digital and print advertising, emails, fliers, and the bank website.
This position is not centered on other marketing specialties such as design, analytics, or project management, though some exposure to those areas may be provided. The role also offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Marketing Department’s greater strategic initiatives.
This Internship would be In-Person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and schedule content for social media (including responses to select comments and Google reviews)
- Assist in the development and proofreading of content for digital and print advertising, emails, fliers, and the bank website
- Research topics and conduct interviews with employees to gather details and develop engaging content
- Build relationships with co-workers to support marketing and storytelling efforts
- Participate in strategic marketing projects aligned with business goals
- Apply academic knowledge to real-world marketing and communication challenges
- Learn the fundamentals of banking and gain exposure to business operations
Qualifications:
- A student currently enrolled in an accredited university or collegiate program. Journalism, Creative Writing, Communications, Marketing, or other applicable fields of study is preferred.
